Brentford vs Aston Villa (8 May 2027, Premier League): match facts, form and head-to-head

Brentford host a struggling Aston Villa in what promises to be a decisive clash in the lower half of the table. The Bees sit sixth with six points from four games, unbeaten but modestly scoring seven and conceding four, while Villa languish nineteenth on a single point after a solitary draw and three defeats, having netted just once while letting in seven. Brentford’s recent form suggests they will look to convert their solid defensive record into a win, whereas Villa will need to rediscover any attacking spark to avoid slipping further down the standings. The two sides have yet to meet this season, but the stark contrast in points and goal difference makes the fixture a clear opportunity for the home side to widen the gap and for the visitors to spark a much‑needed revival.
