Eintracht Frankfurt vs Borussia Dortmund (1 December 2026, DFB-Pokal): match facts, form and head-to-head

Eintracht Frankfurt host Borussia Dortmund at Deutsche Bank Park with the hosts sitting eighth on 11 points after three wins, two draws and three defeats, while the visitors sit second, unbeaten on eight matches and holding 18 points. Frankfurt’s modest goal difference of minus 5 (13‑18) contrasts sharply with Dortmund’s +8 (14‑6), underscoring the gulf in form between the two sides. The clash offers Frankfurt a chance to close the gap on the top‑half, but Dortmund will be keen to maintain their flawless record and extend their lead over the chasing pack. A win for the home side could tighten the mid‑table race, whereas a Dortmund victory would further cement their hold on the second‑place spot.
