Heart Of Midlothian vs Benfica (13 August 2026, UEFA Europa League): match facts, form and head-to-head

Heart of Midlothian were held to a 1‑1 draw at Tynecastle by league leaders Benfica, a result that leaves the Scottish side perched on 95th place with just two points from two goalless draws. Benfica, now second in the table with 16 points from six games, remain unbeaten with five wins and a draw, having scored 21 and conceded only four. The stalemate adds a second point to Hearts’ tally while Benfica’s perfect record stays intact, extending their dominance in the head‑to‑head this season – they have already won once and drawn once against the Edinburgh club.
