Juventus vs Real Sociedad (28 January 2027, UEFA Europa League): match facts, form and head-to-head

Juventus host Real Sociedad in what promises to be a pivotal Serie A clash, with the Bianconeri sitting eighth on 7 points after two wins, a draw and a loss, and a modest +2 goal difference (6‑4). The visitors sit just four places below, also on 7 points but with a far less flattering record of two wins, one draw and three defeats, leaving them with a –5 goal margin (6‑11). Juventus will be looking to tighten up a defence that has already conceded four goals in three matches, while Real Sociedad must find a way to stop the home side’s early pressure and improve a leaky back line. The two sides have never met in the league before, so the encounter could serve as a litmus test for both clubs’ ambitions this season. A win for Juventus would solidify a push for European spots, whereas a draw would keep Sociedad’s hopes of climbing out of the lower mid‑table alive.
