Málaga vs Rayo Vallecano (14 March 2027, La Liga): match facts, form and head-to-head

Málaga host Rayo Vallecano in a crucial LaLiga fixture that could see both sides inch out of the lower half of the table. The home side sit 17th with three points from six games, having failed to win any match and scoring just two goals while conceding eight. Rayo sit a place above them in 16th place, holding four points after a solitary win, a draw and three defeats, and they boast a slightly better attack with eight goals scored but a porous defence that has let in 14. The two clubs have already met twice this season, each game ending in a draw, so a decisive result could finally break the dead‑lock. With Málaga needing their first win to start climbing out of the relegation zone, the match promises an intense battle for three points.
