Real Sociedad vs Real Madrid (7 February 2027, La Liga): match facts, form and head-to-head

Real Sociedad host a daunting challenge as they prepare to face second‑placed Real Madrid, who sit on 12 points after four wins and only one loss. The home side, currently 12th with just two victories from six games and a modest -5 goal difference, will need to tighten up defensively against a Madrid side that has already netted 14 times while conceding merely four. Historically, the two clubs have met frequently, with Madrid traditionally holding the upper hand, a trend that could prove decisive on the Anfield‑type pitch. A positive result for Sociedad could catapult them out of the lower half of the table, while a win for Madrid would solidify their grip on the top‑spot heading into the final stretch of the season.
