Ararat-Armenia vs Riga (7 July 2026, UEFA Champions League): match facts, form and head-to-head

Ararat‑Armenia secured a comfortable 2‑0 victory at home over Riga, extending their unbeaten run in the league. The win leaves the visiting side still sitting eighth with 14 points from six games, having scored 12 and conceded six. Riga’s record this season shows four wins and two draws, but they failed to find the net against a disciplined Ararat‑Armenia defence. The two clubs have split their head‑to‑head meetings this campaign, each claiming one win, so the result tips the balance back in favour of the Armenian hosts. With three points added, Ararat‑Armenia move closer to the top‑four places as the race for European spots tightens.
