Villarreal vs Napoli (13 October 2026, UEFA Champions League): match facts, form and head-to-head

Villarreal host Napoli in what promises to be a pivotal clash for both sides, with the hosts languishing in 18th place on just two points from four games, having failed to win yet and conceding eight goals while scoring six. Napoli arrive in the Spanish arena on the back of a stronger showing, sitting tenth with six points after two victories and two defeats, their goal balance a modest +1 at 6‑5. The contrast in form is stark: Villarreal have yet to taste a win this season, whereas Napoli have already secured two, and the visitors will be keen to extend that run. A positive result for Napoli could propel them into the top half, while a draw or win for Villarreal would be vital to begin climbing out of the relegation zone.
